The Active X Backs Lower Back Pain Course for Massage Therapists

The Active X Backs Lower Back Pain Course
Lower Back Pain is the world’s leading cause of disability, affecting 58% of the adult population every year.  Those are your clients, AND your prospective clients.  You can help them, because…

While manual therapy is effective for recent-onset pain, the only proven preventative measures are exercise and education.

The Active X Backs Lower Back Pain Course is a complete, evidence-based, no-nonsense guide to helping clients overcome persistent lower back pain (with no fluff) with a total of 16 hours of in-person CPD and 8 hours online.

Successful completion of the end-of-course assessments provides eligibility for Partnership status with Active X Backs at no additional cost.

You need to know that this is no ordinary CPD training!

We know how it feels when you make up your mind to sign up for something a few weeks away.

You just can't wait to dive right in!

For this reason we have made seven short lessons available IMMEDIATELY!

All you have to do is book your place by hitting the I WANT IN! button

Then you can start learning.

We believe there is no other CPD training in the UK today which addresses education and exercise for Lower Back Pain as comprehensively as we do.

But don't just take our word for it - read what our lovely past student Caz had to say: "If anyone is thinking about doing this course, I would highly recommend it.

As a level 4 personal trainer, I am always eager to learn more to help my clients, and in this case myself. I have suffered with lower back pain since being diagnosed with Symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD) whilst pregnant with my youngest (now 10yr old child). It’s not always an issue, and I used to shy away from the heavy deadlifts.

The information was super easy to digest, and I never felt overwhelmed with too much in-depth knowledge. The little quizzes were brilliant, and I must admit I was super chuffed to ace them.  Everything I was learning was going in and staying in."

Caz Fosker ~ Personal Trainer

Dawn Gillies Level 4 Cancer Rehab, L3 Personal Trainer, L3 Diploma in Instructing Mat Pilates, Experienced Yoga Alliance Teacher and Tutor/ Assessor had this to say:

"I'm now in my 20th year of teaching... and have 13 years experience teaching Realistic Pilates.
I think the two biggest learnings from this fantastic back pain course are:
* discovering that whilst stretching your back may relieve the pain at the time, but due to the way that signals travel through the nervous system, the effect of the stretch blocks the pain signal from getting through; therefore the stretch may be making your back pain worse;

* the fact that people with back pain can be flexion intolerant, extension intolerant or both; and about specific movements to use / avoid for each case to relieve pain and then help to prevent the pain from returning.

I feel confident in being able to work with and help clients with lower back pain. And also to help my clients to prevent lower back pain occurring." ~Dawn

Yvonne Rodger - Studio Owner, L3 Diploma In Instructing Mat Pilates, Realistic Yoga Teacher really enjoyed the course;

" I learned a lot about how pain works in the body, specifically with regards to lower back pain.

This was all new knowledge for me (despite being a teacher for more than 13 years)  which I was able to use immediately with my clients.

The Active X Backs Lower Back Pain Course gave me a new approach regarding how to help people in acute pain, learning some fundamental movements has been really helpful.

A very useful course which I am sure will be key in moving my business forward". ~Yvonne
